megamind
HERE ME OUT. this movie is not only iconic, but also unironically one of the funniest animated movies ive seen. i have it almost memorized so this is probably very biased but with as many times as ive seen it, its still not boring. the plot twists are still good and there are a bunch of tiny details that are fun to catch.

ballad of songbirds and snakes
you'd have to know a bit about the hunger games before watching this, but its definitely my favorite of the series. watching snow's life and understanding why he is the way he is now is really interesting. lucy gray is also one of my favorite characters in the whole series. its fun to watch how the games came to be.

how to lose a guy in 10 days
ok, i usually think rom coms are super corny and only watch them to make fun, but this one was actually really funny. i just found it while flipping channels one day and got invested LOL. mcConaughey's delivery in the movie makes it even funnier. it is a lot of cringe comedy, so do what you will with that.

anastasia
this is one of my favorite disney movies (and ive watched quite a few). its loosely based on a true story and its super interesting. its a different animation style and i really love it. i need to rewatch it soon and YOU SHOULD TOO.

surfs up
i cant even explain this one. it just seems like such a generic premise; talking penguins surf. but its SO GOOD. its "filmed" like a documentary and it captures that feeling so well. all the characters feel so life-like and theres only a few childish jokes. i really recommend it.
